For those of you out there who aren’t exactly down with my hip hop turn (and obsessive reading of okayplayer.com), here’s a little gem for you. I like to call it:
Al’s Hip Hop Vacation (LOL)
Just want to go on record: major, major fan since 1988. The Jesse Jackson caucus and the Al Gore Caucus decided to team up in the gym on Colefax Avenue in uptown Minneapolis. That’s one of the only times I’ve been at peace politically. That, and 1992 through 2000.
Put your hands up in the air–We love Al Gore’s slick hair.
Back in the day when we were Demo, Demo, Democrats.
It’s all coming together, people. Woman running the Episcopal Church, Al Gore and Mos Def chillin on MySpace, me back in the saddle at Prematurely Grey. It takes a nation of millions to keep us down.

I’ll reveal my total cultural obliviousness by asking, what specifically does the hand sign mean?
I think you’ll like this, particularly the top clip, if you haven’t seen it already. (But surely Wholphin is on Bside’s radar!)
